Accessing, updating and amendment of information
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018, you have the right to access, amend or delete any information that we hold relating to you.
Sharing of data
Unless we are compelled to do so by law, we never share your data with a third party without your permission. We do not sell data to third parties.
Data Protection
We do our utmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is treated and stored securely.
We have locked down our server which helps with all websites on it. Our website has SSL [Secure Socket Layer], the green padlock in the browser to the right of the web address bar, so all data is encrypted from the website [a form or processed orders].
Also all the customer data is in a one way SQL server setup [database server]. Data can be sent and read from it only from within the website. All ports to the SQL server are blocked by a hardware firewall which prevents access from the outside. They can only be accessed via the website which all happens using server side code that is not seen by the website users.
The hardware firewall is another layer of security also. All server data and customer information is backed up daily at 3am and once a week for good measure.
Whilst we take all of the measures that we’ve outlined above, unfortunately, the transmission of information using the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data sent to us this way, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our site.
